NCAA expected to deliver Southern Cal penalties for Reggie Bush case this week

One person thinking there could be severe penalties for the Bush affair is Chris Dufresne of the Los Angeles Times. On his Twitter account, he made a prediction of five years probation, a bowl ban and a loss of 21 scholarships.

Could USC be forced to forfeit the Orange Bowl game?

and if they were forced to forfeit the Orange Bowl game, wouldn’t that make OU the national champion for that year? Would OU put that on the stadium and on the T-shirts, etc? Would we claim it?

That's pretty funny

I have never felt worse after watching any OU game in any sport than I did after that one. A bold statement no doubt as there have been far bigger losses (not referring to the final score mind you) in OU history, but just getting absolutely embarrassed like that left me feeling utterly miserable.

Its the only time in my life that I left an OU game early

We left with about 10 minutes to go in the 4th. Some drunk Sooner fan yelled at us for quiting on the team. I yelled back, “this team quit on me in the second quarter!”

They would probably just not have BCS champion that year…. was that the last year of the actual “bowl trophy” also be awarded…. was it The BCS Orange Bowl?, or was the orange bowl a few days before?
