Let's get this out of the way early
I’m very worried about this game. We have to play almost perfect since the odds makers clearly think we are the inferior team making us a 13-15 point underdog. According to ESPiN, we probably shouldn’t even be in the building so let’s just get on the bus and head back to Norman. We’re in trouble fellas.

I'm obviously biased
But I didn’t really see anything that impressed me. All this talk about them changing their offense to a more downhill running team didn’t really impress either. Their defense looked very average to me, especially against the run. Time will tell of course, but I really like our chances this year in Dallas.

Two problems here
1) Everyone is plain jane in these spring games.
2) To have a downhill I-formation rushing attack you actually have to have running backs.

But the point is that losing to a #1 seed in the Final Four is a whole lot more than most thought they would accomplish.

However, that’s based on the assumption that we don’t play our worst game of the season. Which at this point, is exactly what we are in the middle of doing.

I just didn’t expect Sherri to let them take us completely out of our game. I just think she’s a better coach than that. Plus I bought into all the talk about how they settled for just getting there last year and how this year was going to be different.

well, when all else fails
i like to break out the M.O.T.O (Master of the Obvious) and I don’t really know what to say in this circumstance. I am dumbfounded that they seem to have come out playing like, well, somebody else when they have to know what they need to do to beat this team.

I heard how last year they let up b/c they were just happy to be there and how this year was going to be so different. unfortunately, they just played a 1st half like they were again just happy to be in the final four instead of playing like a team that has over achieved by even getting there and going all out playing with nothing to lose.

I hate to root for them. I understand its the Big 12 but it is hard to cheer for Griner when she is breaking all of C. Paris’s records
I'm a big conspiracy theory guy
So I’d guess that the refs would give Griner a couple early fouls and make her sit and if that happens then UCONN could be up 30 at the half. But ESPiN really, really wants her to be the next face of women’s b-ball so they might let her hack away so she can stay in it.
