After a strong recruiting weekend for Sooner basketball, Jeff Capel received more good news on Monday with the commitment of point guard Calvin Newell from Evelyn Mack Academy in North Carolina. Last year, as a senior, he averaged 26 points per game and received offers from Baylor, Florida and Central Florida.
