Chris Brown Taking Handoffs From Tim Tebow? Four Sooners Sign Free Agent Contracts!
With the NFL draft coming to a close (7 Sooners Selected) yesterday afternoon the rookie free agent signings are starting to roll in. Chris Brown was picked up by the Denver Broncos and if Mike Shanahan were still the head coach the I'd say that was a great fit for him. He made a habit of turning low profile running backs into All-Pros.
* The Detroit Lions acquired fullback Matt Clapp.
* The Seattle Seahawks landed defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger.
* Defensive end Auston English could be making his new home in Cleveland.
That's all I could dig up. If you hear of any others be sure to let us know!

Really surprised some of those guys didn’t get drafted, Granger, English, and Brown. They were all pretty badass players.

Granger's back was a big problem
In fact, I’m really surprised (and very, very happy for him) that he got signed anywhere

Yer we got word that we had signed Brian Jackson, just wondering if some you guys can give us your opinions on him? obviously we have Revis/Cro/Wilson and Lowery and then we just picked up Donovan Warren from Michigan as a UDFA, so can he push for a place? any good on special teams? any info would be appreciated.

I was shocked no one took a chance on Jackson late. Dude is big and fast, good in run support and is coming off a really good senior year. Didn’t see him much on special teams recently, but a lot of OU fans would argue that he was the superior CB this past year, over Dominique Franks. I’d like his odds of a roster spot on just about any team in the NFL….except the Jets. In the right system, he could transition to CB/S hybrid. Otherwise I don’t like his odds.
