Hell yeah!!!
No respect from Vegas for our ladies tonight. We’re the underdog, albeit by a flimsy one and a half points, but still we shouldn’t be giving points to them.
That said, this team does scare me because we tend to have trouble with really quick athletic players like UK appears to have. I’m worried that this is one of those games were we turn it over way too much. (Was that good enough CC?)
Here’s to Ny having another hot shooting night, D-Rob playing like the superstar we know she is, Thompson being dominant on both ends, Olajuwon taking no prisoners down low, and everybody else stepping it up and kicking some butt!

I didn’t see your post above about the OU club. I’m a proud member and frequently go to the watch parties for football. The bar they meet at is no more than 10 minutes from my house. They are good people.

Down by 13 at one point in the half and now leading by 4 – that’s pretty darn good. I have a feeling though that Coach Coale is going to give them some chatter to make sure that they do not come out like that in the 2nd half.

I was totally thinking the same thing
But I have never been to the Alamodome so was not sure if it is like other stadiums where if you enter in certain gates, you are stuck in that level and cannot even get to the other levels.
No we didn’t even sit in our ticketed seats at big 12 championship there… If they are empty, they don’t want them shown on the tellie

I think we match up really well with Stanford. I think they’re very similar to ND, big and slow. Not sure about the rest of you guys, but I’ve always been the “I’d rather be in the championship game and take my chances” than not have the chance at all. Obviously the odds of beating UCONN are minimal at best, but if we can make it there I’ll take our chances every day of the week.

Because it’s women’s basketball, the coaching job Coale has done will go pretty much unrecognized and that’s a tragedy. This is an absolutely amazing testament to her coaching ability and the girls on this team!
