Willie Warren To Undergo Season Ending Surgery
According to Mike Houck's twitter feed, Sooner Guard Willie Warren will be undergoing season ending surgery:
Willie Warren will undergo season-ending arthroscopic surgery tomorrow on his ankle. Averaging 16.3 points and 4.1 assists on the year.
Warren's sophomore has been a bumpy one as he struggled to become a leader on a very young team and was unable to become the consistent scoring threat that the Sooners so desperately needed. Talk around the talented young guard will now turn to his recovery and future status with the team as he contemplates his return to college. Prior to the season Warren was seen by some as a NBA lottery pick, but with his struggles this year his stock has most certainly dropped.
Best of luck with your recovery Willie.
