for this game thread. I could not agree more. I think we have no pressure. I hope we play loose and hard and can get a win tonight. I can feel the magic coming in now.

The tiny bit of optimism I had after reading some of the stuff Capel and the players had to say has been completely obliterated. I feel as worse as ever about this team.

I mean he hasn’t been getting through to them all year so why would tonight be any different. I guess I’m crazy in thinking that these kids should have a little bit of personal pride right? I mean if you have even an ounce of competitiveness in you, you’d think they could give a little more than that joke of a 1st half.

Remember when Capel took away their jerseys earlier this year? They need to come out this half and play in white t-shirts. They don’t deserve the right to continue to embarrass the “Sooner” name.

They let so much go and then they get ticky tack w/ calls like that. Is a little consistency too much to ask? Apparently so

Here’s where I have a problem w/ Capel as a coach. Crocker has four fouls so whoever he’s guarding can go right at him b/c he doesn’t want to foul out. That is bad coaching.

We are lazy defensive team
In a zone it is too easy to be lazy. We need to be in man. You cant be lazy in man without looking stupid. If someone scores when your in a zone you can blame someone else. In a man 2 man d. If your man scores noone to blame but yourself

I live in KS and I HATE the Jayhawks, so I’d be forced to pick someone else. I think this is a year that someone comes out of nowhere (relatively speaking) and wins it all.

Im going to be in Vegas next week
and have been trying to look for some sleeper teams to put money on. I too think Baylor is hot right now. It would be nice if we were playing in the post season of some kind so I could bet against us and make some money.

I took the over on Anderson tonight b/c he routinely kills us every game and guess what happens. We get our a$# kicked and he has his worst game of the season. So even “easy” bets against us find a way to screw me over.

But since it’s against the Pukes, it’s time to send in the enforcers. Put in Allen and Gerber and tell them to go “earn” their way to the showers.
