Keeping It Under 30 Would Be An Improvement - Looking At The Baylor Bears

The last time Oklahoma played Baylor it was a humbling experience to the tune of 29 points. Now that the Sooners are riding a five game losing streak there isn't much more out there that could be worse. Nonetheless, OU will try to prove that they're not as bad as the team that was blown out in Waco and a home win over a Top 25 team would be something to take some pride in.

The Bears have a 21-6 overall record and are 8-5 in conference. They are 2-4 in Big 12 road games with their losses coming at Colorado, Kansas, Texas A&M and O-State. They are currently on a roll where they've won four of their last five games.

Baylor leads the Big 12 in field goal percentage (47%), free throw percentage (.77%) and blocked shots (6.5 bpg), They are second in 3-point field goal percentage (39%) and fourth in made 3-pointers per game (7.2). 

The Bears have three players scoring in double figures led by junior guard LaceDarius Dunn who scores 19.1 points per game (2nd in the Big 12). Dunn shoots 42% from behind the arc (league-high 3.3 makes per game) and .853 from the free throw line (ranks second in Big 12).  This season he has scored 20 points or more in 12 games. Senior guard Tweety Carter is averaging 16.0 points and dishes out a conference-high 6.1 assists per game. He is shooting .39% from three-point range (2.7 makes per game). Junior forward/center Ekpe Udoh played high school basketball at Edmond (Okla.) Santa Fe High School. He is averaging 13.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and leads the conference with 4.3 blocked shots per game.  He has 13 double-doubles on the season which is second best in the Big 12.
