Well the spread is 22.5

So that is the baseline I am going with for how I judge them tonight.

Almost four minutes in

And I’m not sure we have an offensive board yet

by ccmachine on Feb 22, 2010 8:17 PM CST reply actions

5:06 in

and we’re 0-7 from the floor with no offensive boards

Two Fouls On Tiny

There go our defensive boards

He's the man!

He’s like two guys on the court at once!

Did you see the article

In the Lawrence Journal World today talking about how much he wasn’t a fan of OU?

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 9:04 PM CST up reply actions

Halfway to 30 point loss.

Listening to Bob Knight tell me what an idiot I am just makes this worse.

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 9:12 PM CST reply actions

Knight

Has hated OU even since the Longar elbow incident, if not long before that. I absolutely hate the guy and he is a absolutely terrible announcer. Can’t argue w/ his results as a coach, but as an announcer he is clearly unprepared every night and is Madden-esque in his stating of the obvious.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 9:14 PM CST up reply actions

I'll take it further than that....

…I think he’s hated us ever since that game where the clock at LNC stopped and Hollis Price scored the basket that sent the game to OT where OU eventually won. He then said that OU should do the honorable thing and give the victory to Tech. Yeah, like he would have done that.

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 9:18 PM CST up reply actions

You're right about that game

And you couldn’t be more right about him not doing the “honorable” thing while ordering someone else to do just that. The guy is a miserable old bastard who needs to fade into retirement ASAP.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 9:20 PM CST up reply actions

Speaking of Hollis Price

He is my second favorite Sooner b-baller ever. Right behind Wayman. Capel needs to find a high character guy like that.

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 9:25 PM CST reply actions

Hollis and Quannas White...

….formed our best backcourt since the days of Mookie and Ricky Grace. And you never saw any of the pouting and B.S. that you see on this team.

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 9:29 PM CST up reply actions

Why the hell does Brent....

….compared Basketball players to football players every single week? For him to say that Bob Stoops might like at Tiny Gallon as an outside linebacker is just absurd.. I don’t care is he’s joking or not. Someone needs to circle a petition to get Franklin and Frascilla on the Big 12 broadcast.

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 9:32 PM CST reply actions

There actually is one

Here in KC. The local sports radio guy here has started an online petition that they are planning on giving to Dan Beebe at the Big XII tournament demanding that Knight/Mushberger not be allowed to call Big XII games.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 9:35 PM CST up reply actions

I doubt anything comes of it

But it would be nice if the point is made regardless.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 9:46 PM CST up reply actions

When I originally

Signed up I thought it did say how many, but yeah it doesn’t now for whatever reason. I thought I heard the guy on the radio here say the other day that it was over several thousand.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 9:50 PM CST up reply actions

+1

Guy is definitely not afraid to put it up

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 10:00 PM CST up reply actions

I like this young lineup...

….I don’t think Crocker would be in there if Gallon hadn’t fouled out.

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 10:06 PM CST reply actions

Crocker got a free pass

Once he was the only recruit who stayed after Sampson left. Capel has rewarded his loyalty ever since despite anything he did/didn’t do on the court.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 10:08 PM CST up reply actions

Agreed

They had little to no chance to win this game regardless, but starting 0-11 absolutely eliminated any chance however slim right from the start.

by jtesooner on Feb 22, 2010 10:10 PM CST up reply actions

Yep....I'll give them credit for not quitting tonight.

They just ran into a better team tonight. (Notice how I said that in my Bob Knight Obvious Man voice?)

by Sooner71 on Feb 22, 2010 10:12 PM CST reply actions

Well I have seen worse bball on the road from this team. But mushberger & knight are total ass clowns. The funniest thing I heard was the Davis thing by knight & mush getting fired up about NASCAR, like he gives a crap about it…

by OU JJ on Feb 22, 2010 10:17 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Agreed, arute & some aggie yell leaders held my 3 month old when I was stuck in increased security after sept 11. Arute was very cool.
