Quest For Elusive Conference Road Victory Continues For Oklahoma Tonight At Colorado

Oklahoma (13-11 overall, 4-6 Big 12) takes its 1-6 road record (0-5 in Big 12 Play) to Colorado tonight to face a Buffaloes team that's 10-3 at home this season. The Sooners own an 87-48 record against the Buffs but have lost their last three games in this series and four of the last five when the games are played in Boulder. Meanwhile, Colorado is currently riding a four game losing streak (@ Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, @ Kansas State) and have lost seven of their last eight games with that lone win coming against Nebraska. 

Colorado is in a tie with Iowa State for 10th place in the conference race.  They rank eighth in the Big 12 in scoring offense (70.4 points per game), 11th in scoring defense (76.6 points per game), seventh in field goal percentage (.44%), seventh in 3-point field goal percentage (.36%) and fourth in free throw percentage (.73%).

Three Buffaloes average double figures in points led by junior guard Cory Higgins who ranks fifth in the Big 12 with 18.1 points per game along with 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.0 steals. He is shooting .481 from the field and .839 from the free throw line.  Freshman Alec Burks scores 16.8 points per game and is shooting a league-high .520 from the field while also leading Colorado in rebounds with 4.8 per game.  Junior forward Marcus Relphorde averages 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game but has been sidelined recently with a knee injury. Word on the street is that he'll play against the Sooners tonight.
