Quinton Carter is OU's 151st All-American
Oklahoma safety Quinton Carter has been named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America Team for 2010. He becomes the 151st All-American in OU's 116 years of football competition and the 31st of Bob Stoops' 12-year tenure as head coach.
Carter is the first Sooner defensive back to earn All-America honors since Derrick Strait was a consensus selection in 2003. Oklahoma St. players Justin Blackmon and Kendall Hunter made the team on Offense.
Congrats Quinton!

Just thinking the same thing
Not to slight Q at all, but Broyles not making it is a travesty!

There is still a chance
Broyles could still end up being an All-American. The Associated Press, Football Writers, Sporting News and Walter Camp have yet to release their teams. Those, along with the Coaches, comprise the five All-America teams the NCAA officially recognizes.
