Dear OSU: You do not suck, you are not losers.
OSU Cowboys? I want to thank you. Thank was one heckuva football game.
And you know? Even if the numbers on the scoreboard had been reversed, think about it. These two teams traded shot for shot. You proved to us that you were for real. Your fans at Pickens stadium were amped up from jumpstreet as if the government hadn't banned FourLoko. You directed one of your touchdown drives as if our defense weren't even on the field. Kendall Hunter is a guy we would love to have in Norman. Blackmon turned in a performance that the word "gutsy" doesn't do justice.
I lived in Norman from 1988-1999: the eleven years between Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops. I went to Norman High (back when there was only one) and OU. I have great memories of my time at OU, and got myself a pretty darned decent little education while meeting some incredible people. I'm pretty sure you can say the same about your time in Stillwater. And as much as we can talk about our football history, all you guys need to do is say the name "Hank Iba," and we've pretty much got nothing to say in response.
So count me among the Sooners fans who think that calling you lOSUrs is kinda dumb. I got a chance to watch one heckuva football game tonight -- one of the best I've seen since I've been an OU fan, and that goes a ways back. You guys are co-Big XII champions. You've got a 10-2 record, just like us and A&M, and a bizarre and confounding machination of coaches and pollsters and computers will decide which of the three of us get to play in the championship game. That's the system, and most of us don't like it, either.
Mostly, I just wanted to thank you for one of the better college football games I've ever seen. Wherever you may land in your bowl game, I will be watching, and I will be rooting for you.

completely agree with the written words above...
as i stated on the crff site earlier, as much as i don’t like the color orange (in any shade) or pistol petes plastic face, etc…i am proud of both oklahoma teams having a great year and going 7-1 against texas teams. Hopefully OSU will get a good bowl and beat the pants off whoever they play (preferably an SEC team) and in that case, an OSU victory of 80-0 will suffice.
thanks for the kind words
I fear that many of our fans will go into “we are losers” mode for a while, but I am proud of this performance.
In turn, OU proven once again that when they need to get bring their “A game”, they almost always bring their “A game”. Yall had a great gameplan on both sides of the ball, and the execution was there (you take away the two circus interceptions and that game might have turned into a Sooner blowout).
Good game… it definitely goes down as one of the greatest Bedlam games of all time.
I will be cheering for you against Nebraska.

that 1 interception
was one of the greatest plays I’ve ever seen on a football field. It took tremendous athletic ability just to put the intercepting player in position to make the play. All the OU players were sure the ball was thrown away.
