taylor
is so obviously still so hurt; he was limping so badly on the first play of the game I wondered why he was on the field. Now I know it was because the only other d tackles available are mcfarland and mcgee; walker is out with his knee and apparently noble has an ankle issue. Reminds me of last year when we had no backup o linemen. that’s a coaching/recruiting problem to let themselves be so short when it comes to d tackles. apparently they only had FIVE available to play

i just don’t understand how as a staff they could come up so short numbers wise when it comes to d tackles. i know they have no control over injuries, they were playing a true freshman to get their numbers up to five. hope they have multiple commits at d tackle in this years class.

it also has to do w/ the fact they didn't play anybody last year except mccoy and taylor (for the most part)
so nobody that was going to have to play this year saw any snaps and clearly were not prepared

I do think there is a chance OU comes out flat. I get the “they’re angry” argument, but I think they come out flat b/c it’s a home game and they think they can just show up and beat CU. I hope I’m wrong and I probably will be, but that’s my thought on it.

and if I coached , I would let every player know the if they came out like that, they would go to the bench, lose their starting slot and as far as the depth chart… they would be last.
I would do that. Who is charge of the team, the players or the coaches… then prove it

So, UT has a home game against Baylor this week. And guess what the UT fans have decided to do? Well, they’re going back to the plane and banner well. Apparently they are paying to have a plane fly a banner that reads “Greg Davis Is Not Our Standard” for an hour or two just prior to their game this Saturday.
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. But why would we expect anything less from whorn fan.

long winded posts they are. Not impressed and looking thru several threads they seem to be a big rumor-mill and rant blog with not much real content. To each their own. I hope they keep Greg Davis, I like his style I might go back there for laughs.
