After Alabama's loss to South Carolina on Saturday, the Crimson Tide fell down to #8 in both polls. This allowed OU to move up into the spot vacated by Bama at #6 behind: tOSU, Oregon, Boise State, Nebraska, and TCU (NU and TCU #4/#5 in the coaches poll and flip flopped in the AP Poll). Now that Bama is no longer the consensus #1, the first place votes are officially up for grabs. Evidenced in tOSU, Nike Oregon, BSU, NU, and TCU all receiving at least one first place vote from the coaches. Meanwhile, the AP voters found fit to give our Sooners two first place votes.
