Guy used to play for OU and now plays for Stanford
Talked a lot of trash leading up to the game and took a few cheap shots during the game but was pretty much dominated by McCoy after basically calling him out in the press leading up to the Sun Bowl.
was his “trash talking” the article on why he was too smart for OU? or something else i missed?

Since he went to Stanford, he probably passed
on the vaunted Longhorn education as well.

did we offer him? when was the last time Mack accepted a transfer, let alone one from OU? not exactly a fair comment to make, not that i’m saying our kids are Rhodes Scholars (FSU’s are).

He came into the game against UT as a true freshman & handled your defense quite well in 2007. Basically, he was a highly ranked recruit whose entire family (parents I personally know) went to OU. At pretty much the last minute he committed to OU over Stanford, after his fresh year, he felt the need to transfer. Originally he had no intent on playing at Stanford. The McCoy tie in is that they were roommates at OU….
Did they rack up another Rhodes Scholar?
That dude was impressive, although the cheating scandal kind of overshadowed his accomplishments. Sometimes it’s easy to see why collegiate athletics in major sports simply don’t exist in other countries.

i think just the one, it was just more fluid to say FSU’s are, instead of “FSU had one last year”
