The Book’Em Horns 2009-10 Tour Continues

Buckner_medium

Texas receiver Dan Buckner became the fifth Longhorn football player to get in trouble with the law, and fourth since November, when he was arrested in College Station of all places last night. He is being charged with criminal trespassing and resisting arrest and was released on $8,000 bail. While there has been no official comment from the coaching staff yet it is widely speculated that Mack Brown will suspend Buckner from playing football for the University of Texas until September.

you say that

Like being forced to sit out the spring game isn’t punishment enough? That’s borderline cruelty by Mack’s lofty standards.

I guess

That extra $2 million a year finally bought Mack Brown a set of cajones.

Maybe one day

Bob will get a raise so he can afford a pair. :)

Really?

You want to put Stoops record up against Mack, really?

I'm curious

How you can possibly know how seriously I take anything from a single comment on a message board, so I’m left to assume you’re like most Horn fans are simply know everything so I digress. After all, I’m obviously the one who is posting on my rival’s fan site. Oh wait, never mind.

This is an endless debate that would go something like this:

You: Bitches need to be kicked
Me: Used cars
You: Sergio’s school of driving
Me: Screwdrivers
You: Monroe’s folly
Me: Loadholt
You: Buckner
Me: I need a jacket

This could go on and on and would prove nothing more than we both root for kids on Saturday who have a habit of screwing up on Sunday.

And I thought only Aggies

have that much time on their hands.

Touche, though.

wasnt there some lineman that was in drunk in a car with a weapon also a couple of years ago… I am just asking.

Not starting crap, I was just looking at the pics…

Sad case of a young man getting mixed up with an Aggie

Though apparently not the first time that he’s been in the doghouse with the coaching staff and / or the law.

Probably a good opportunity for both to part ways- in the UT system, he was too slow to be a good WR and too small / adverse to contact to be a good flex TE. He’s a great athlete and has amazing hands, so hopefully he’ll quit disregarding orders from cops and find a place that better suits his skill set.
