Looks like a form tackle to me and clearly the hit was before Broyles caught the ball. The official immediately throws a flag indicating the infraction. Just not sure about the block in the back. You make the call. What did you see?

OU was hosed on that call
it very clear when it was broadcast and I would not have needed a replay no matter what teams were playing. I am just glad the Sooners had a good mindset and attitude. Whatever they did to prepare for this game worked. Hope Bob keeps notes on what he and the staff did to prepare.

I was actually on this board when that went down. Horrendous no-call. I can think of two this bowl season that were worse: the “no fumble” on the punt in the USC game, and the “no offsides” in the Cotton Bowl at our friends from Stillwater’s expense.
What made it even worse was that it not only screwed OU out of 15 yards, but handed Stanford a turnover made possible by the illegal hit and eventually led to 3 points. Just dreadful.
