Cute,

but it means nothing until we play Miami. USC should be ranked higher than us, that’s just my opinion.

Really?

USC’s loss was much worse than Oklahoma’s. At this point I would think that they are ranked about right.

USC

shouldn’t even be in the top 15. It’s probably going to take a few more games for people to realize that.

Who have we beat?

USC went to Columbus and won. We beat Idaho State and Tulsa at home. Oh, and if you are looking at losses to rationalize our poll position we lost (neutral field) to a team that got smacked at home by marginal FSU team. USC lost on the road. I love OU football but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Possibly so

I’d like to get as little respect as possible. We play better when everyone counts us out and I want Miami to believe they are going to mop the floor with us. Works to our advantage.

USC...

…reminds me a lot of Oklahoma: TONS of talent, but no desire and no motivation to push them right now! Don’t forget that Washington has a new coach and I think Sarkisian might be a good coach for a horrible (past) Washington team!

Other than the first drive and the last drive (against OSU), OSU DOMINATED the game last week!

you are very close

a lot of time I think (and have seen first hand) the Sooners going thru the motion with no desire, not even using their talent, size or speed, just showing up. 97% of the time when they play like that they get their butts handed to them. That is most likely the reason they lose the games they are supposed to win.

I actually think

Penn St. is kinda overrated. I mean they haven’t beat or played anyone.

I also love how Oklahoma St is one spot ahead of Houston who dominated them. That is always a funny trick that the pollsters pull off.

Outside of Oklahoma State, Penn State has got to be the worst #5 ranked team in recent memory. Seriously 28 -0 over Syracuse & ?30 ish against Temple? A good defense could score 28 points on Syracuse & Temple….IMO
