That the 2000 OU Offensive Line only had 1 returning starter as well?

I'm struggling to remember all 5
Bubba Burcham and Scott Kempenich were seniors, Frank Romero was a junior and wes sims was a freshman, so I’m going to say that it isn’t true. Does anyone remember who the 5th was?

… all five either, but Sims redshirted in 2000.

… the only returner from the previous season. Allen, O’Neil, Bronson, and McDougle were senior starters for the ’99 squad. Burcham was a former walk-on and Romero a converted DE. Jay Smith also played a prominent role for the ’99 squad and we lost him too. We also had young guys at the skill positions in 2000. The defense had the makings of being stifling, we had a QB rewriting the record books, etc…etc. All sounds pretty familiar!!
2000 seems like yesterday! The glory of the RRS that year was fabulous! Oh my God, we were toasted I think mostly from the giddiness of the game when we were in the fair that night! I got married the day of the OSU game, we moved back the time by an hour & had most of my entire family literally running 2 blocks to the wedding from a sports bar, because the hotel didnt get Fox SW. Just great memories & it doesnt seem almost 10 years ago…
