Big 12 Baseball Championship Update: Kansas/Texas Eliminated
Baylor won the early game today 8-4 over the Kansas Jayhawks. Two losses for Kansas (Texas/Baylor) will eliminate the Jayhawks from tomorrow’s championship game. The best that Texas can do now is to tie Baylor in pool play with a win over K-State this afternoon. In that case the Bears would advance to the championship because of their 14-9 win over the Longhorns on Wednesday night.

Texas advances due to it being a 3 way tie
KSU, Baylor and Texas all end that half of the tourney at 2-1. Texas advances because they are the higher seed. Weird tie breaker to say the least. Head to head only counts if two teams are tied at the end of pool play.
