Loadholt First Sooner Taken In Draft

Big Phil Loadholt became the 37th player drafted since Bob Stoops became the head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners. The Minnesota Vikings selected Loadholt with the 22nd pick of the second round (54th overall) and he’ll now be helping pave the way for Adrian Peterson to set NFL rushing records.

Hat tip goes out to dishingoutdimes for posting yesterday that ESPN’s Todd McShay had tabbed Loadholt to be the first Sooner taken in the draft.
