Quentin Hayes Becomes Next Sooner Commit

Oklahoma received their seventh verbal commitment for the 2010 recruiting class in Lancaster, Texas standout safety Quentin Hayes. Hayes is listed by Rivals as 6-1, 175 lbs with a 4.4 forty time. He received scholarship offers from 11 other schools including conference foes Baylor, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

Assistant coaches Chris Wilson and Bobby Jack Wright were the lead recruiters on Hayes.
