Well this has been a crazy Big 12 tournament so far.
First Texas Tech knocked off Texas A&M behind Mike Singletary's 43 points last night, and now today Baylor knocked off the number 1 seed Kansas. So that leaves the Sooners are the highest remaining seed in the tournament.
This is the third and final Bedlam matchup this season and is probably the most important. They say it is tough to beat a team three times in a season, as Texas A&M found out last night, but if we come out and play our game, we will win this by double digits.

HALFTIME THOUGHTS
- Go right at Moses or Brown. Then they’ll be without a big guy.
- OSU is shooting 6/15 from 3 point range. I guess if you shoot it that many times you’re bound to make some.
- Our perimeter defense needs to play better.
- We are much much much better against OSU with Willie in the game.
- OSU has gotten about 10-15 of their points after missing a shot horribly, and then getting a long rebound because they had absolutely no rebounding position and OU had like 4 guys right around the rim.
Not much you can do. OSU is in this game because of dumb luck and bad officiating, not to mention shooting a ridiculous amount of threes. 51.7% of their shots have been from behind the arc.
If we play better perimeter defense and hammer their big guys with Blake, we’ll be golden.

Blake Griffin is a quality player
What I question is his ability to be a franchise player. 2 different scenarios. Offensively, and rebounding wise I suppose, he is dynamite though. Then again, so was Michael Beasley.

They should have blown out OK St, but played indifferently for too long, and by that time, OK St was so into the game that OU had to play hard just to stay even.
I see it in the NBA all the time. In fact the Nuggets did this very thing to the Kings the other night.

This one is on our team though. It never should have been that close against OSU. You can’t make the players care. We have the talent for a Final Four. But we just don’t care right now. This team has the classic profile of a high seed that will get knocked off way earlier than they should.

there were a bunch of bad calls
Blake going straight up for the rebound and getting run into, a foul is called. Bad. At that point in the game, you don’t call a marginal foul, especially on the player that didn’t cause it.
On the inbound, Blake got fouled, but they let it go.
On the rebound, Crocker got fouled, but they let it go.
The clock didn’t start.
All of that was terrible and inconsistent.

I saw inconsistent officiating all game long, and in some ways, it worked against both sides most of the game.
