"For the third, and hopefully final time, let me again state that I will continue to be the coach at Oklahoma. I appreciate the history and tradition of Notre Dame. I also appreciate the history and tradition of Oklahoma, and I have been part of building that tradition here.
"I work for a wonderful president (David Boren) and athletic director (Joe Castiglione), who have created an incredible work environment at OU. There haven’t been any plans for a meeting or negotiations with Notre Dame and there will not be. Any reporting to that fact is completely erroneous. I will not be the next coach at Notre Dame."

Sooooooo
This means you are staying or going?
(that’s sarcasm)….I hate the 24 hours make up news to fill the time news we have now.
that's what I think
the re-hashing of old news to make up new news to take the place of real new news. total BS on the news part.
Honestly when the man first said he was staying I believed him and that should have been it. The news dudes would not have liked me at all if I ws in his place. I would have given my answer 1 time and the next time a nit-wit asked I would tell them to look at the notes from the previous day and to STFU. But that is just me.
Yeah, its really strange how the Stoops-to-wherever rumors creep up at the end of every season. Seriously, is there a more desirable place to be a football coach then OU? Maybe i’m missing something, but there are a few places in college football that are the top gigs: USC, OU, Texas, Florida, Ohio State, maybe LSU. If you have one of these jobs, you keep it. The Michigans and Notre Dames of the world are undoubtedly a step below.
