Dr. Death Steve Williams Passes Away
Oklahoma Sooner football and wrestling great Steve "Dr. Death" Williams lost his battle to cancer on Tuesday and passed away at the age of 49. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family during this time. He was great to watch as a Sooner and was a star in the wrestling entertainment industry.

Steve Williams was a joy to watch
It is so sad to hear of this news. It reminds me of how short life on earth really is.
RIP Steve.
This year we lost two former Sooner greats at too young of an age, Ricky Bryan and Steve Williams. The passing of Jack Mildren was just as sad.
I am glad that I got to watch each of these great players play at Owen Field.
This is very sad news
As an OU alum here in Denver (he was from Lakewood, and returned here) this seems like a personal loss.
I have his phone number here on my list, as I was hoping he would recover enough to be one of our guests of honor at our 2010 OU club kick off party.
He wrote a book about going from the world of wresling to finding God, which is always a great story to hear from anyone. God Speed brother.
RIP Steve
I lost my dad to cancer 3 years ago.

In the interest of quicker games Ron should just tell the ump he's pulling the Feliz card and the ump should rule the inning over.--Sherman McCoy on Sept. 4, 2009
