I need some help here fellas. I'm stuck in Central America until Monday which means little or no college football at all for me today. I'm hoping to be able to follow the game on the internet but down here there are no guarantees. Keep the game thread cranking so I can know what's going on!

Slow start for the Huskers
a curious call on 3rd & 11 for the QB draw
Good field position after the punt return by Broyles
It almost looks like they are trying to
prevent the flurry that put them out of it quickly last year.
Plus with the true Frosh going against this defense…yeah, I’d call it real conservative to let him get his feet wet. We have to capitalize thought next time we get the ball.

U - G - L - Y
Unless Broyles runs one back this is going to be a long, lonely night for the offense getting into the end zone it seems
As usual, if odds are we are just giving them the ball back, do it after 4 downs! Don’t freaking kick!

Good to see the o-line we know and love showing up
Letting guys in untouched , false starts – wait – we need some holding penalties to really regress completely back to the same state of the BYU game.
they are not overly happy at CornNation
but they are predicting a 3-0 win in OT
33 total yards of offense in that quarter
I say kick the FG
He’s due one, but knowing Stoops they go for it.. and get stuck on the next set of downs
Why are they runnign the shovel
right towards Suh? Seems beyond silly to think that we are going to beat him.
by the hair of his chinny-chin-chin
that was a truly, truly, truly ugly half – but if it had happened between two SEC teams everyone would be singing the praises of the defenses
the worrying thing is the 2nd half for NU
cannot get worse – right? 64 yards in penalties, only 83 yards in offense – with 63 on a single play – so we have to figure something out on offense and actually finish some drives and get TDs rather than FGs in the red zone and not make any more mistakes on the defensive side of the ball.
Win it for OU, that is.
OU has 11 first downs, NU 1. Yep, that’s right. 11 first downs to 1. Now who should win this game?
we go three and out
and they pick up a first down on their first third-down conversion to open the 2nd half = NOT GOOD
Howdy Sooner. Peaking in before our game next week....
remember, no matter what happens tonight, you’ll be playing a team with no defense next week.
Weak call
that seemed like good defense – it is hard to tell from the camera angle they showed, but looked like general handsy stuff
Jones - another mistake
He does not have to win the game – just not lose it. If he keeps making those mistakes, we are done
Jones is not even planting his feet now
Throwing with all arm and shorting passes – appears to have no confidence in the line to give him any time or protection – rightly so….
now we are at the 30 - this is Way's favortie postion
ont he field to miss FGs from, so I think we should just stall here
Special teams
have been crap the past three years – Stoops really is slipping – he seems to think we can cruise against everyone it seems
Why why???? If it’s over 35 we cannot kick it!!!

This is really sad
I hate to sound like a broken record – but NU has 20 yds passing int his game – we are starting the 4th Q – and over 50% of their offense came on ONE play back in the 2nd Q. We gotta get a strip or something deep in their territory and just use all 4 downs to get in the end zone.
Nice D
way to stay home and shut that down
it is too bad that next year we will have lost all of these defensive starters and will also have a crappy o-line. I am getting really tired of losing to Texas all the time.
I can take some responsibility for that
I wote a post about how he could be the best qb in the conference

Blood curdling stat of the game:
If we miss another field goal, we will equal the number of NU first downs for the game
I love the announcers - "I think this might be 4 down territory"
Well, we are certainly not going to attempt a FG from here
OK
This is driving me nuts! I hate not seeing what is happening.

The Sooner’s went into a forest and got whipped, beat and then clobbered by an UGLY Stick.
