A New Sooner Is Born

100_2088_medium

My beautiful wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Monday (11-23-09) and I couldn't be more proud of them both. Little Aubree Grace weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz and was 19.5 inches long. We're ready to sign a letter of intent for the OU women's basketball program at any time. Mom and baby are resting fine and hopefully should be home from the hospital before Thanksgiving. Regular posting should resume sometime today.

Dude, that’s fantastic!! Not sure if this is your first, or your first daughter, but let me tell you…daughters are amazing little creatures. Glad to hear all are doing well.

Congrats!

Maybe she’ll play basketball at UT instead and you’ll watch her games with neutral clothing.

Congratulations!!! I recommend you go ahead and buy the “Baby Sooner” DVD now…you both will love it. (We got it from my parents for Christmas two years ago for our little ones.)

Awesome, but I hate to tell you...

…. dressing my kids in OU paraphernalia ALWAYS wound up in an OU loss starting with K-State in 2003 and continuing with USC in 2004 and TCU in 2005. I got rid of it all… the boomer-sooner football, the onesies, the bibs, you name. Cleared house…. And now? We’re 6-5.

Dress that baby girl to the hilt in crimson and cream, man.

We'll see what kind of luck she brings us tonight with the basketball game

Thanks to all of you for the well wishes. Mom and baby came home today and are both doing great!

We have jerseys & hats for every size… It is nearly comical, but I too put away “cursed” clothes after a loss, for me & the kiddos. But this year defies all odds! In ’05 we had a 8 wk preemie in October. I said he was the only reason the football season was a blip on memory lane. Here is to your blip on memory lane & the joy she brings you will ease the trauma of this season!

We're older nd the kids have grown up

married and raise their own families. So, we got an English Bulldog in May this year. We then proceeded to get him an OU collar, OU tee-shirts, blankets etc. When we traveled to Big D for the first game he was wearing an OU t-shirt at the sitters. We know the rest.
