On the injuries!

Listening on the radio

My 9-year old is about to kickoff for the OKC metro area championship.

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 11:42 AM CST via mobile reply actions

Come on D!

Tech is marching with ease. Four first downs already!

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 11:46 AM CST via mobile reply actions

Good job D!

Pressure on the QB leads to pick!

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 12:09 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Patty O'Hara

Why has he been on the pine all season?

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 12:14 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Pretty Good...

…kick by O’hara. At least we’ll hopefully have him for a few more years.

Bob Barry is sooo confusing

Good dude. Just confusing to listen to

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 12:22 PM CST via mobile reply actions

I don't a choice right now

I just celebrated a touchdown in the stands at my kid’s game only to nevermind, Bob Barry was wrong again

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 12:33 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

Defense looked a step slow in the first quarter...

… but maybe the Nelson pick, the O’Hara kick will give ’em some juice in the 2nd

by inocybe on Nov 21, 2009 12:23 PM CST reply actions

I saw something good in Landry

… he stepped up in the pocket and completed a pass

Also, just ONE O-line penalty during the first quarter

by inocybe on Nov 21, 2009 12:24 PM CST reply actions

Passes Tennell should have had! First one high, but next one shoulda been 6!

by OU JJ on Nov 21, 2009 12:33 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Tennell

It sure looked to me like Tennell got his toe in bounds in the back of the endzone!

by soxboys21 on Nov 21, 2009 12:37 PM CST up reply actions

Especially not when the secondary falls asleep

That was just an awful defensive series by the secondary. We have to convert in the red zone on offense or we are toast

by chrisabo on Nov 21, 2009 12:40 PM CST up reply actions

Wow!

When will the injuries stop

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 12:47 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Hat to see Habern go down...

… Cooper went down with a broken leg in Lubbock when he was freshman and playing center

by inocybe on Nov 21, 2009 12:49 PM CST reply actions

Wow!!!

I’m at a loss for words, 17-6

Looking like a broken ankle for Habern. Third string center the rest of the way.

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 12:57 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Adjustments

Hopefully there’s some serious adjustments during halftime! If we can keep pressuring Potts, maybe we’ll have a chance in the 2nd half.

by soxboys21 on Nov 21, 2009 1:08 PM CST reply actions

gotta have some offense

the D isn’t going to score 12 pts.

by scarab on Nov 21, 2009 1:10 PM CST up reply actions

Well On A Better Note

My kids team just won the OKC metro youth football championship for the 8-year old division

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 1:42 PM CST via mobile reply actions

ugh

time to put a stick in them

by scarab on Nov 21, 2009 1:44 PM CST reply actions

So Nice

They only needed a yard and the D gave them 6.

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 2:11 PM CST via mobile reply actions

pathetic

this team, and more importantly the coaching staff, have very obviously quit and that is beyond unacceptable. whatever “it” is, this staff has lost “it.”

by jtesooner on Nov 21, 2009 2:17 PM CST reply actions

hard to say

in my opinion, the coaches gave the impression that they didn’t really care that they were getting absolutely embarassed so if the coaches clearly don’t care why should the players? they’re the ones who have to go out there and put their bodies on the line, why do that when the guys in charge could care less.

off topic, i’m not one to normally bash a player but dom franks played the worst game of his career today. when you play 8-10 yards of the receiver and you still let a guy get behind you then you’ve got some serious problems.

by jtesooner on Nov 21, 2009 2:33 PM CST up reply actions

I'm really close to being done with this game

Nevermind, I am done with it. It’s Saturday and there are so many other things I can be doing right now.

by ccmachine on Nov 21, 2009 2:21 PM CST via mobile reply actions

me too, in fact I am going to the bedroom

and watch this crap from the bed. I always go to sleep when I watch TV laying in bed.

by scarab on Nov 21, 2009 2:23 PM CST up reply actions

As your Lubbock Correspondent

We are getting blasted by jump around.

by SoonerDutch on Nov 21, 2009 2:24 PM CST via mobile reply actions

I saw that

you knw what they say about payback

by scarab on Nov 21, 2009 2:26 PM CST up reply actions

Is it me or has OU telegraphed the blitz today?

Just saw Potts hit the opening vacated by the blitzers

by inocybe on Nov 21, 2009 2:49 PM CST reply actions

telegraphed?

I think they walk up to the line and flat out tell them they’re going to blitz. That’s how obviously it looks to me watching it on TV.

by jtesooner on Nov 21, 2009 2:53 PM CST reply actions

the scariest part

to me is that Stoops is too arrogant/stubborn to make any real significant changes

by jtesooner on Nov 21, 2009 3:01 PM CST reply actions

Don't worry Stoops will either be fired or at Notre Dame next

Year. Hopefully Joe C will hire you so you can guide us to the championship.

by SoonerDutch on Nov 21, 2009 3:26 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

uh, ok

because that’s definitely what i said

by jtesooner on Nov 21, 2009 8:04 PM CST up reply actions

The whole team laid an egg today...

… (except the FG kicker). Consider this was the only game OU got knocked out early and was never in control. All other losses this year OU had opportunities to pull it out. I’m not making excuses, it’s just that most teams have real clunkers for games on occasion. ,Reminds me of the loss to OSU in 2002, K-State in 2003… oh hell I give up.

by inocybe on Nov 21, 2009 3:09 PM CST reply actions

Get out’ya seat and jump around!
