After doing a little research it appears we are going to wear this new prototype Nike uniform against Texas Tech. Several other teams are also doing this like Texas, Ohio State, Va Tech, Florida, LSU, Miami, Missouri and TCU. Does anyone know more about this?

And to anyone who watched the spinoff of Transformers: Beast Wars, look at the nickname for the Mizzou uniforms.

I am not a fan of Nike's new uniforms.

I love the Sooner simple uniforms. They have such a correct and natural balance between the crimson and white. Any player sporting these uniforms just looks like a professional. I’ve always been a little jealous actually. There is no unnecessary lines, no ugly patterns (see Oregon), and no meddling third color to throw off the balance. It’s a clean look that should never go out of style.

Shame on you Nike. I’m all for innovation and new lightweight materials, but you have failed visually.

as a Texas fan

I must say we got lucky. Ours is basically the same, minus numbers on the shoulder pads and plus numbers on the helmets.
At least you didn’t get stuck with Virginia Tech’s!

Oh, I'm a K-State guy

so we didn’t get chosen for these. After last year’s purple on purple (aka Barney the dinosaur) massacre, I’m glad Nike stayed away.

And yes, VA Tech’s uni’s are bad as well.
