Bradford Won’t Play Against Jayhawks
We really didn’t need a press release to tell us this but here’s one anyway. My opinion hasn’t changed on him not returning to the team this season and the fact that he’s taking a few days to visit with and discuss things over with family and doctors gives me some assurance that he’s looking long-term and won’t be back this year and most likely at all.
Brian Simmons has also been ruled out for Saturday’s game as well.

Pat Jones won’t be coaching the Sooners on Saturday in Lawrence .
While Bradford for this weekend is not news, I’m really curious what the young man will do going forward. Would he come back this year to prove worth to the NFL? Would he come back to OU for 2010? Will he have surgery this year, or will he just rest it until the combines?
I guess my real question is has Bradford with these injuries lost money? And if so what would be the best way to make that lost value back?
According to Todd McShay, ESPN,...
Bradford lost somewhere in the range of $10 to $20 million guaranteed money. McShay said Bradford slid to the early middle first round in the NFL draft. As a UT fan I would not like to see Bradford come back next year for obvious reasons but it would make sense for him to come back to a stacked team and try to make that money back and even try to win a MNC. But that’s just my view. Good luck to the rest of yalls season and a speedy recovery to Bradford!

There was a radio rumor yesterday
that Bradford was considering coming back to oU for 2010.
But if I was him….I’d grab the cash. One extra year of NFL pay will make up for any loss in draft money. And in 2011 draft there very might well be slot money set and the draftees could get much less money.
News Conference today
Sam will announce his future plans to the world. For his sake…take the money Sam. I know playing in Norman is a huge thing for you, but you have got to think of your future.
Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.
Speedy recovery to Bradford
Honestly the analyst can debate about it all they want but, I still think Bradford is easily a top 10 pick and has to be the #1 QB. He has all the physical and mental tools to be very successful in the NFL, that won’t be overlooked by the GM’s.

Isn't there....
Some sort of collective bargaining agreement int he NFL that will expire after this next years draft? If the owners get their way these fat paychecks for unproven guys out of college could end and that could be a reason for him to go this year. Anyone have the specifics on what is happening?
