Sooners Drop In AP Poll After Beating Baylor

This is what happens when you have to settle for four field goals against Baylor. Oklahoma appears at #20 this week which is one spot behind last week's #19 ranking marking the second week in a row that the Sooners have dropped in the AP Poll. If I actually thought that they cared where they were ranked I would say that this would be some additional motivation going into next week's game against Texas but the Longhorns are going to be looking for some redemption themselves after dropping a spot themselves this week. In fact, every ranked Big 12 School other than Nebraska dropped this week. The Huskers moved up this week from #21 to #15.

It doesn't matter

It’s all about winning the big XII. That is our first goal every season. Eff the polls! Let’s just whip up on the hornies and get to the conference championship!

Polls

I hate the football polls and I look forward to the day when they are as irrelevant as the basketball polls.

Lol

I stopped caring once I looked at how ridiculously easy other teams’ schedule were. I don’t even care if we stay in top 25. Looking forward to great games for the rest of the season.

I have no idea why we are even ranked

I mean, our 3 wins aren’t against great teams.

I feel the same as the rest of you people

The coaches don’t even spend anytime on these things and the AP poll is pure homerism, bias, and ignorance.

I do a weekly feature over on FanIQ

Where I go through all the AP ballots and pick apart those pollsters and your analysis of the AP poll is almost spot on, it might actually be a little worse than that.
