Texas Baseball Coach Arrested For DUI!
Amazing way to start the baseball season if you ask me. It will be interesting to see how the Longhorns athletic program handles this in light of the way Oklahoma State handled the Eddie Sutton situation. Augie Garrido is a successful and beloved coach in Austin but a mistake like this by a person with Garrido’s responsibility is inexcusable.

In Texas a DWI is the same as an Okie DUI
In Texas, DWI stands for Driving While Intoxicated.
In Oklahoma, DUI is Driving Under the Influence and DWI is Driving While Impaired.
Just a difference in the wording between the two states. So, I don’t know the details, but he would have been above a .08 to get the DWI. I know it used to be .10 in Texas but the law changed a few years ago.
Some people are born on third base and go through life thinking they hit a triple.

Yeah
I believe the only difference is your BAC but it is still not good.
