Team that worries you most?

I want to preface this by saying I am not an OU fan, I respect your guys football team and especially Stoops.  I am however, a Missouri Tigers fan, I was just curious as to what team OU fans were more worried about Texas or Missouri.  I fully understand the magnitude of the Red River shootout, (as I have been multiple times) but was wondering if you fear Missouri or Texas more.  Although we currently aren't on your schedule our matchup would be in the Big 12 championship and I think  our two teams matchup very similiarly this year.  Especially our secondary struggles early on.  Just wanted to see Ou fans thoughts.  For what its worth I would much rather play Texas than you in the Big 12 Championship, but I guess that could change if we get blown out in Austin in 3 weeks.

First off I don’t see the similarity between our defenses. Our secondary has not struggled this year. That has been a problem lately but so far this season we are solid. Having said that I think Missouri will be a tougher game than texas this year. Mainly because our only apparent weakness is one of your strong points, our kick coverage versus maclin. I do not fear Missouri, in fact i hope we play you in the big 12 champ.

Team that worries you most?

The Baylor Bears. Ok stop laughing and just hear me out for a sec.
Art Briles and his staff are excellent when it comes to game planning. Every year Baylor plays Oklahoma and looses to them, but not before giving a bit of a contest but more importantly not before exposing any weakness OU has.
If the Baylor Bear had the athlete that most of the other Big XII have they would be in the running for a conference title if not more every year.
So if you are a coordinator for another team and want to see just how to beat the Oklahoma Sooners look no further than the Baylor game

This does look like a trap game to me too

One week before the Texas game, on the road, against a team with a QB that can make things happen.

It SHOULD be a rout…but so should USC at Oregon State last week.

Thought Clint Hurdle should be fired before it was cool.

No team worries me

The only teams you have to worry about are the ones you don’t respect. Respect every team you play and you will have nothing to worry about as long as you play your game.

I have to be honest

I don’t bother myself at all with Missouri right now. There is no guarantee that the Tigers and Sooners will hook up this season. Texas is a Top 10 team that IS on OU’s schedule and they appear to be very good this season.

I don't think

it’s a foregone conclusion that Missouri will win the northern division either. I could envision a scenario where the winner of the north has two losses. While Missouri is highly ranked and getting the most publicity, I think that Kansas and Colorado are quite capable of beating anyone in the Big 12, especially on their home field. While the north has improved significantly the past two years, I believe the south is still superior.

This is easy.....

Texas. With McCoy putting on the extra muscle and getting a touch faster, it’s made him more dangerous as an individual player. He’ll make that team better, and with the new Defensive coordinator (Beauchamp?) their D has looked better. Guess we’ll find out in a few weeks…..

What team worries you most

Texas Tech. They have been very successful defeating the zone coverage of OU in recent games and they are loaded on O. I think Texas will hang a few points on us, but we will outscore them. As far as a possible match with Missou, I would have to give our defense the big nod in that one. I also think Sam is a much smarter QB. I am worried most about TT, though.

I'm also worried about Texas Tech

They seem to have our number, and have stopped us in the past with their defense, even when they don’t have the highest rated defense, like…this year.

Texas hasn’t had much competition this year, and don’t look that great on Defense. Missouri we just man-handled last year, and is still learning about wining on the big stage. So I’m going with Tech…bad match up for OU

Thought Clint Hurdle should be fired before it was cool.

Oklahoma State

because OU will never lose at home again, as long as Stoops has a talent advantage he beats Texas, and Missouri will be in a Big 12 Championship environment, where historically (with an exception) OU is usually well prepared. O State is on the road (and will probably have a relatively decent crowd due to the new stadium and both teams being ranked with OU probably playing for the national championship) they have a solid offense with a much improved defense. Plus the game is pretty much the BCS National Championship, Super Bowl, World Series, World Cup, and NBA Finals all combined for Boone U.

Okie State

worries me as well. Bedlam is strange every year. Mizzou, no problem. In fact on all the other message boards Mizzou fans do not want to play OU.
