2008 Sooner Football Recruits: Justin Johnson

With spring football starting today let's take a look at an incoming freshman who'll actually be participating in the drills.

Running back Justin Johnson is already on campus (enrolled at the semester) and with DeMarco Murray sitting the spring out is ready to mark his mark among an already deep running back unit. His power and explosiveness made him the 17th ranked prospect from the state of Texas.

A standout from Gilmer, Texas Johnson was recruited as a running back and a linebacker. After rushing for 2,164 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior Johnson turned down offers from Baylor, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M to come to Oklahoma.

Position: Running Back
Ht: 6-foot-1
Wt: 210 lbs
Forty: 4.5 secs
