Colt McCoy To Stay For Senior Year
Crap. Nothing can rain on my National Championship Game Parade but this certainly brings in a few clouds.

Makes Perfect Sense
If you think about it, McCoy probably believes that Sam Bradford or possibly the Tech Quarterback will win the Heisman this weekend. If I were him, I would stay that extra year to secure the Heisman rather than go directly to the Pros. That thing is worth it’s weight in gold!
I don’t beleive that the Heisman folks will award Tim Tebo his second one. Awarding a player his second Heisman has only happened once before.

Id rather
Tebow or McCoy win it instead of Bradford. All of the distractions and media and travel that you have to do could hurt the winner. If Tebow won it again, then it would really be a huge distraction for Florida and could give us that little bit of an advantage we need in what should be a tight game.

The only thing about Tebow or McCoy winning the Heisman instead of Bradford is that it would make me puke to see either one of them win it. So, I have to weigh whether or not I want to puke or Bradford winning it and giving a slight advantage to Tebow. Have Heisman Trophy winners ever played against each other in a bowl game?

It was Lienart and White, then next year was Lienart and Bush.

You are right. My Bad!
We could also make a case that AD should have won it over Leinart.

Brain block
That’s right. I forgot that White was only a junior when he won it and then faced Leinart in the BCS championship game when he was a Sr.

Even though Vince Young should have won it Bush's year.

Fl and Tebow have enough distractions already.
The whole SEC, FL, Tebow and his team mates think this is already a done deal. I don’t think so but that is my opinion. OU is getting dissed by everyone. I hope it keeps going.
Now for young McCoy. If he stays, Sam and crew wil giv e them a beatdown they have never experienced.

OU Snubbed
I agree that OU getting motivation from the media is the best thing for them. I am not a fan of kirk herbstreit but I saw him commenting this weekend that the underdog teams in the BCS have done very well. 5 out of the last 6 winners were ranked #2 and considered underdogs. I know Florida is ranked number two and if history has shown they should knock off OU however the media has OU feeling like it is ranked #2 so it will be interesting to see how this game plays out.

Washington Post endorsed Sam for Heisman
1. Bradford with lots of compliments and accolades
2. Crabtree
3. Tebow
4. McCoy
I’ll take a Sooner for the Heisman anyday. Bradford can handle all that comes with it. Think about what’s at stake… Heisman for Bradford and a national championship in 2008. This could be a year that people will talk about with smiles on their faces 10 and 20 years from now.
