Insight Bowl Game Thread

The Big 12 is 1-1 this bowl season after last night’s loss by
Unlike the previous two games there should be no issues among Sooner fans when it comes to pulling for the Jayhawks. We all pretty much love and respect Mark Mangino and I’ve stated more than once that Todd Reesing was my favorite Big 12 quarterback not named Sam Bradford.
The thing that scares me is that the crystal ball is 2-0 in predicting the Big 12 bowl games and it says that this one is going to the Gophers. Here’s to hoping that it is wrong. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

Nice 3rd down conversion by the Jayhawks
Meier will be missed by KU big-time

Briscoe with the score
Looks like he will be the prime target for Reesing next year.
If they can hold the Gophers on this next drive this could be a Jayhawk win.

Big stop for the Jayhawks
That has gotta be depressing for the G-Gophers – can’t get the ball in from the 1.

That should do it
Jayhawks score another – Briscoe with over 200 yards receiving – we will have to keep a close eye on him next year.
That means that former Stoops assistant’s have gone 3-0 in bowl games this year (M. Stoops, Sumlin, and Mangino).

Congrats.
Now THAT’S what I was looking forward to from the Big XII this bowl season! That said, Vandy and LSU both won as underdogs, holding ranked teams to 17 points combined, so the SEC is holding it’s own. I’m sure you guy would agree with me that it’d be best if everyone else in our conference ran the table so that our teams could settle which is better on the field. Man, I can’t wait for our showdown!
