Florida Loses Offensive Coordinator

This story is in the process of breaking and an official announcement will come later this afternoon but the Sooners just got an added advantage over Florida. Dan Mullen has been calling plays for the Gators since 2005 and his era is coming to an end as he will be introduced as the Mississippi State Bulldogs next head coach. It hasn’t been made clear yet whether Mullen will be around for the BCS championship game or not but either way it can’t help but be a distraction to the Gators.

I think Urban Meyer calls the plays for Florida

but it will be a distraction if Mullen doesn’t decide to coach through the bowl game

That is the exact same thing I thought of.

The guys over at Alligator Army think they could lose him and their defensive coordinator. This could be a perfect storm for us.

None of this is good for Florida...

Definitely advantage Oklahoma across the board.

Not so fast, my friend. WV lost their head coach and then beat us.

I was at that game

I chalk that loss up to disinterest by us and West Virginia playing some really inspired ball as the rallied around their interim coach. Plus they used smaller and faster defensive linemen to blow by our bigger and stronger offensive linemen.

FL and TBO will not let the loss of one coach or two coaches affect their play.

Don’t anyone gain any confidence in the rumors or facts that come about.
