Oklahoma’s Football Resume

The regular season is over and everything is in the hands of the voters. The computers, even though no one understands how they work, are unbiased and operate only on facts. There is nothing to sway with the computers but the Coaches Poll and the secret society known as the Harris Poll is a different story. That said, here is Oklahoma’s 2008 resume to be submitted to the pollsters in hopes of gaining access to the Big 12 Championship game next weekend. Keep in mind that the Big 12 South Champion will be determined by an entire body of work and not just one weekend of football. That’s good news for the Texas Longhorns because they lost to a team who had to come from behind and beat Baylor by only a touchdown. I digress…

You keep forgetting that Texas fans use the 'selective memory' theory.

Therefore the only losses that matter are the ones that benefit them.

Coaches Poll is out

Sooners are #2 and Texas in #3 one vote behind the Sooners. Wow. If the Sooners can maintain their lead in the Harris poll they should be ok since it looks like the computers are going to reward the Sooners on SOS.

It’s going to be close hold on to your hats boys it all comes out between 3:00 and 3:30 on Fox.
