We Knew This Was Coming, 65-21.com
In response to the 45-35 campaign launched by some Texas fans some Sooners have responded with 65-2.com. It is a Face Book that was launched just yesterday and already has over 3,000 members. It is just a subtle reminder that there was a loss by Texas as well as a huge win by Oklahoma in the mix as well. Should you be traveling to ESPN’s Game Day tomorrow there are also some signs there you can print off and take with you. My favorite is the one at the top of this post.
In addition Texas Tech fans have started 39-33.com so that we’d all be reminded about the game that Longhorn fans are trying to forget. Tech alum Shane Walker is spearheading the group and they too have hired a pilot to fly around the Game Day crowd in Stillwater.
"We find it amusing they say they beat OU on a neutral site," Walker said. "We would’ve loved to have played OU on a neutral site. We would’ve loved to have seen what would’ve happened to Texas if they went to Norman.
"It seems like they’re not counting our victory over them because they dropped an interception at the end. But we went (62 yards) in the final minute. Does a championship team allow that kind of drive?"
One day we’ll laugh about all this!
FanPost are for the voice of the fan and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Crimson and Cream Machine administrators.

It's funny to see
the moronic Longhorn fans in the crowd at Gameday. I hope they get a ticket on the way back to Texas.

As long as they didn't book their trip back home...
…through Longhorn Bob’s bus service, they probably will.

I am amused
Sooner fans bring up a different game to counter the head-to-head argument. Indeed, how many Sooner fans are arguing against Texas Tech?
As far as that clueless Tech fan, I would have loved to see Texas at Norman too… because we ain’t losing 65-21 like a bunch of clowns. Furthermore, I would have DEFINITELY loved to get Tech at home or on a neutral field. Even OU fans would admit deep down that in that scenario, Tech would have virtually no shot at an upset.
Silly Tech fans. I can understand the griping from Oklahoma fans. Tech fans are just delusional.

Did Texas lose to Tech I can't remember....
You have to win road games just like home games they all count no matter.

Look it is UT's fault we are where we are today
If that shitty little CB could catch a ball conversation over. But make no mistake Tech outplayed UT all game long. UT only lead what 1:27 of the game and Tech did drive the field to win. It is what it is and if OU wins tonight on the road against a highly ranked team they will win the Big XII South because of one CB with hands of stone. 39-33

It's also OU's fault we're here today
They did, after all, lose to Texas.

You'd think that if a crappy A&M team can go to Austin...
…then Tech would have a fighting chance.
Speaking of clueless fans I think your 45-35 campaign boy pooped himself when they asked him about Texas Tech on television Thursday night. He blew all credibility with this foolish campaign by his inability to answer the question.

Go to Austin... and do what?
Get blown out? Did you mean to say Tech has a fighting chance in Austin? Because bringing A&M, who got blown out by a Horns team on cruise control the whole game, doesn’t really help that point at all.
As for the 45-35 boy, I did not listen to the interview (I went to go get more food) so I can’t really say how well he defended our case. But again, CC, you don’t answer the central point: Does Tech have a case in a three way tie?

With Tech being blown out, and almost losing to Baylor
They are out of the equation. So it come down to two teams, OU and Texas.
The argument for OU is, we lost to tech.
Our argument is, we beat OU.
Since it is down to OU and Texas, the head to head should come into effect and Texas should be ranked ahead of OU.
But what do I know.

Why are you scting like your loss didn't happen
or matters? If anything the Tech win today shows how bad Tech made UT look.

That we beat them by 44
and Texas lost by almost the same amount that Baylor did.

it doesn't matter anymore
We will find out who goes to the big 12 championship today… and that is all that matters.

It could have been worse if your WR hadn’t droped the pass in the endzone in the 1st qtr.

Yep
But remember…that game doesn’t count. Simply didn’t happen the way we all saw it. Texas will probably put an * by that one in their record books. The note will read: “Texas technically was outscored in the game at Texas Tech, 39-33. However, due to the fact that we are Texas, the loss is a win since it came on the last play and we did lead for 1:28. So that’s how we’ll record it.”
