Sam Bradford/Travis Lewis Earn Player Of The Week Honors

Granted there wasn’t a lot of competition over the weekend with only four conference schools in action but a pair of Sooners have swept the Big 12 Player of the Week honors.

Sam Bradford only threw 19 passes against Texas Tech but 14 of them were completed for 306 yards and touchdowns of 19, 28, 66 and 26 yards.

Travis Lewis has become my new favorite Sooner defender this year. He leads the team in tackles and on Saturday night compiled a game high 13 tackles (one for loss) to go along with a pass deflection and an interception.
