Around SBN: Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Three Teams

Beat Nebraska By 34 Drop Two Spots In The Standings

I don’t think that I am capable of making a solid argument for Oklahoma to be ranked ahead of the teams that stand in front of them in the latest BCS standings but I can tell you that the door has been left cracked for the Sooners to make it to Kansas City for the Big 12 championship. I also know that if Oklahoma wins the Big 12 championship then there is a legit shot to see them in the BCS title game.

Good thing November is crazy

Florida beats an overrated Georgia squad and everyone is back on the bandwagon. Florida lost to a bad Ole Miss team at home but everyone still loves them.

All we got to do is handle our business and win out. Winning out may not get us to the Big 12 title game if OSU beats Tech next week but winning out may get us high enough to where if Texas lost in the Big 12 title game, we could still go to the National Title Game, and in this crazy season, I’ll take that,

Florida's ranking

is the only one that bothers me. If Bama is healthy for the SECCG, FU will get the FU. That will be very nice. There is no more undeserving team ranked ahead of the Sooners or pokes.

Underappreciated Big12

First off I want to give yall kudos for a good blog. Its refreshing to read another schools blog and actually receive some unbiased insights. I myself bleed burnt orange and white but love the big 12 as well. Bottom line is this, if a one loss team from the big 12, whoever it may be, doesn’t get to go to the BCS title game, then something’s got to give. I am no OU fan but I firmly believe OU is better than any SEC team. I just don’t get why Florida is ranked so high. This notion that the SEC is the same caliber as the NFL has got to end. Once again, congrats on a great blog!……..

Thanks for th kind words!

I certainly agree that the Big 12 is better than the SEC from top to bottom and while Texas lost to a ranked team and Florida an unranked one most voters look at when you lose more than who you lose to.
