After a pretty uneventful weekend of college football the Top 9 teams in the BCS Standings remain unmoved. This means that the OU/Texas Tech game Saturday will be a #5 vs #2 matchup.

IMO
I think if Oklahoma beats TT and OSU they will have a higher BCS ranking than Texas and move on to play Mizzou. In other words if the Sooners win out I think they will play for the NC against either Bama or Florida.

If 'Bama drops one...
The most justifiable NC game would be between Big 12 schools that features two from Tech, Texas, or OU. Unfortunately, voters are dumb, so Florida, despite losing to an unranked team at home, will get the nod, or maybe even freaking USC who plays in the soft Pac-10 and still lost one.

USC is to far behind
Despite Florida’s loss to an unranked team they might be the best team going right now. Best case is if Florida St. beats Florida then Florida beats Bama in the SEC Championship game then you could have a all Big XII NC game.

Oklahoma v. Florida
is going to be the National Championship if both teams win out.
I think that if Oklahoma beats Texas Tech in Norman, Saturday, they will jump ahead of Texas, and be ranked number 2 in the BCS. OU is already ranked ahead of Texas in the coaches poll, and we all know that the BCS is driven more by voters, than computers.
I think that Florida will run the table, and beat Alabama in the SEC championship game. There is no way you can keep them out of the National Championship if they do this. If Alabama end up beating Florida, then they play for the title.
As long as Mizz. doesn’t win the Big 12, the national championship will feature a Big 12 team v. an SEC team. I think this is going to be the recipe for one of the greatest championship games ever.
Texas is ahead of OU
in the coaches poll this week.
