My disappointment in OU's Fiesta Bowl loss is beginning to give way to awe of the magnitude of the games excitement. The featured three lead changes and 37 points over the final 1:26 of regulation and overtime.
I have seen and played a lot of football over my lifetime but have never seen a finish like Monday night. Apparently I'm not alone in that either.
"That's the excitement of being in our profession," Stoops said. "You're going to be on the other side of it now and then. In that game and in that fourth quarter, there's so many highs and lows. When you're in the middle of that, it's as exciting as it gets. Of course, you'd like to be on the other side of it.
"I've never seen or been in one like it."
The question that beggs now is was it the best finish ever to a bowl game? My team lost but I still have to say, yes!
