Any news on Rufus?

I have not been able to find anything on this story since Monday:

Is he playing, were the charges dropped, what happened?

Rufus
I am unsure as well the two charges are misdemenors and there is every chance if one of the two cops are fans that they drop the charges (may sound wierd but i work with cops and they do occasionally do it)however depending on how his court apperence goes he could be given community service (likly) a fine ( probably) or a mild jail sentence 15 days or less (unlikly) but we can only hope for the best and since this is not a felony i wouldnt sweat nails over it.

Not a Story
You haven't heard anything because this isn't a story! Rufus was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was trying to stop a fight from happening between his friend and a drunk guy.

That's it plain and simple.

That is what it seemed like
from a story I read a drunk walked in front of his car and tried to get into a fight with Rufus and his pasanger.  I just thought it was weird that their was never a statement by the University.

Stoops' Comment
I think everyone knew it was a non-issue. Here is what Stoops said on Sunday,
"Internally we'll do some work with him in some ways unless we find out something different,"

After the real story got out the whole thing was dropped.
